Here you will find some useful sources of information on responsible gambling.
The Gambling Commission regulates gambling in the public interest. It keeps crime out of gambling by ensuring that gambling is conducted fairly and openly, and by protecting children and vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling. The Commission also provides independent advice to the Government on gambling in Britain.
Gamble Aware is a website managed by the Responsibility in Gambling Trust, an independent charity which funds treatment, research and education about responsible gambling. It sets out the facts about gambling so that people can make an informed choice about taking part.
GamCare is a charity funded by the gambling industry. It offers free guidance and support through its telephone HelpLine and online chat rooms to those who have or believe to have a problem with gambling. It also provides face-to-face counselling for those living in the UK, either through GamCare or its partners.
