England 16/1 For World Cup Glory… Kane First Name On Team Sheet – Alexander-Arnold Set To Warm The Bench

England are 16/1 with William Hill to win the World Cup after Gareth Southgate announced his World Cup squad. They are seventh favourites behind 9/2 joint favourites, Germany and Brazil, France (11/2), Spain (6/1), Argentina (9/1) and Belgium (11/1).

Meanwhile Harry Kane is the 1/50 favourite to start the first match, with the odds suggesting that both Ashley Young and Trent Alexander-Arnold (3/1) will be warming the bench.

“It is a solid squad and with the exception of Trent Alexander – Arnold, perhaps a predictable one,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
